The Metal Coat 5KM Wire Flame Spray Gun has been developed to spray any wire made for thermal spray application, from soft, low-melt point materials such as Zinc, Babbitt to high-melt wires such as Stainless or Molybdenum.

The Metal Coat 5KM Wire Flame Spray Gun is specially designed for an automated and mass production environment. It is suitable for long continuous spray periods while maintaining consistent coating quality. It operates reliably and economically; with the least minimum downtime. The gun is driven by a powerful constant speed motor that provides precise control over the wire speed. With its robust variable speed motor, the powerful wire drive system delivers a constant and smooth feed of the wire material throughout the coating process. A speed control regulator is mounted on the gun to facilitate easy regulation of the wire speed. An external wire feed panel is provided with the gun, which displays the wire speed. Whenever there is a need for maintenance, the 5KM gun can be serviced quickly and hence, returning to production with minimal downtime.
